What is a sustainble population for planet Earth?
The Planet is a finite resource. As populations increase the planet is damaged until it reaches a point from which it can no longer recover.

- if we lived in a smart, civilised way, the Earth could probably have the current human population in a sustainable manner
the way we live today, it can probably only sustain about 1.5-2 billion human beings
now if everyone polluted and wasted as much as US citizens, then Earth could probably support a population of only 500 to 750 million
- Have a look at this view: http://www.educate-yourself.org/nwo/nwopopcontrol.shtml
- people dont live for ever, the earth will be around longer than people, take care and live long
- A sustainable population for planet earh is that a population which does not harm the environment and destroy ecological balance.
- It depends on the level of technology. Earth today supports far more people than it could before agriculture was invented, for example.
- Around 3 billion (destructive creatures) of us.
