How many Earth like planets are there in the universe with existence of air water and life?
Earth has been the only planet since millions of years with the proof of life. All other planets are merely assumptions by astrologers that earth-like planets exist beyond our Milky way. Recently an earth like planet was discovered by astrologers which was supposed to have life, fire, water and Oxygen like gas.But that is all a foolish assumption.

- None discovered yet
- is it
- Billy Graham had preached years ago that he believed they were out there. Only God knows for sure.
- Because the universe is so vast, if we assume a random distribution there must be millions of planets with similar conditions to ours and millions more that would support life with a different chemical basis.
So far, we have been unable to identify any, and no-one from another planet appears to have made any effort to contact us. That could mean we just haven't looked in the right place, or it could mean that the distribution is not random.
- I don't think they've discovered a planet with exactly Earth's specifications but I have heard they've found some promising planets that could support life. But even if they haven't, consider this: There are 100 billion observable galaxies in the universe, each with 15 million to 1 trillion stars of which our sun is but one. The odds, therefore, that there are planets out there which are capable of supporting life like ours are therefore mathematically very very good. Just because we haven't found them yet doesn't mean they don't exist. Now actually getting to them when they are thousands of light years away is another problem altogether!
- 412 The last time I went travelling! There was a bit of a legal situation with the martian authority as to whether or not the third planet to the left of helixion 4 had a breathable atmosphere or not but I believe that that was rectified when the first colony was set up.

- I'm intrigued to know why you think it's a foolish assumption. Given the difficulties involved in finding ANY planets around distant stars, and the fact that all the planets found until recently were gas giants, any earth type planets found are going to be greeted with suspicion.
It is arrogance of the highest order to believe Earth will be the only planet capable of supporting life in this galaxy, never mind the entire universe. That's a hell of a lot of space we can't even see yet, never mind get to.
There will be planets found that will be capable of supporting life and they will be verified as such without ever setting foot on them. Chemical spectrum analysis allows scientists to accurately test what chemicals are present in a distant object, so if they announce earth like quantities of nitrogen, oxygen and other atmospheric gases on a distant planet, you can safely assume they've checked. After all, it's not in the interest of science to make claims that they can't substantiate.
Oh, and that's astronomers, not astrologers. Astrologers interpret the movement of the stars to make predictions. Astronomers look at the galaxy and try to work out what the hell is going on.
- And exactly who are YOU to tell us "But that is all a foolish assumption" - from which I can only assume that YOU'VE been out there and looked and therefore speak from personal knowledge ! ! !
- One that we know of for sure (earth) but there's bound to be more out there. Hell even Christians can believe....if God made earth in 7 days what stopped him from making others in the time since. Christians are gullible though....they'll believe what their church tells them to.
