How far into instellar space would our sun be detected to have planets orbiting it?

Extrasolar planets are detected on other stars using the wobbling and dimness effects. Theoretically, would a civilization as advanced as ours detect our solar system from stars as far as we have detected to have planets or in that neighbourhood.

  1. Yes, our planets could be detected by aliens as far away as the planets we have detected.
  2. Some how I find the opportunity to suggest that we take a closer look into water ossification at various depths and atmospheres towards a pattern of light from millions in years prior to ice formed recently.
