How is Mars getting warmer when there are no humans living there? I don't really get it why Mars is getting warmer because there is no humans there. Can i please get some facts about this?
What would Earthlings have to do to inhabit Mars and the Moon? If we were to try to inhabit Mars and the Moon, what would we have to do to allow us to live there? And for what purpose would we need it. Example: We would need a dome to supply us with Oxygen because Mars doesnt contain Oxygen (and we need Oxygen to live). What would we especially do with Mars and the Moon because of no atmosphere? Also, what planet or moon would be your pick (other than Earth) to live on and why?

Does anyone have a recipe for Mars bar cake? We use to have this great recipe for mars bar cake, which was taken from a chocolate recipe cookbook. It was made from a melted mars bar and broken biscuits and the topping was a melted galaxy bar. Unfortunately we lost the cookbook when my mother died and now don't know the ingredience. Does any one know?
Would it be possible to go to mars and other planets in the near future? I am really interested in space, I want to know about everything in space. Man went to the moon way back in the 60s, and now nasa is planning to send a man to the mars in 2015 or something like that. Do you thing that it is possible that a man can go to mars and others planets in the near future, because i want to see those events in my lifetime. Maybe can we find an alien life form in the near future?
how do i get mars slim out of my carpet? My little brother spilled mars slime on my carpet while i was on vacation and now it is hard....can someone please tell me a good and easy way to get it up and out of my carpet?
Is living on Mars really a practical idea? I'm taking astronomy in college and from what I've read about Mars, it seems like calling the planet hell wouldn't be far from the truth. They say that even the worst conditions on Earth is still better than to ideal conditions on Mars. They also said that Mars is much worse than the most barren and desolate places on Earth. It seems that Earth must become a virtual dead wasteland for anyone to even consider resettling there.
How long will it take for a radio wave sent from space satellite circulating Mars to reach the Earth? If the planet Mars is about 56 million kilometers from Earth, how long would it take for a radio wave sent from space satellite circling Mars to reach Earth? Assume that radio waves travel at the speed of light.
How do I find when to launch a rocket from earth to mars when mars is at a given angle above the horizontal? The rocket blasting off from earth when earth and Mars are just aligned along a straight line from the sun. As a first step in doing the calculation, assume circular orbits for both planets. If Mars is now 34.2 degrees ahead of the earth in its orbit around the sun, when should you launch the rocket? For this problem you need to know the fact that all the planets orbit the sun in the same direction, and the year on Mars is 1.92 earth years.
How do you know if a meteorite originated from Mars? An estimated 20,000 meteors hit the Earth every year, and a supposed handful are to have originated from Mars. How do people know they are from Mars? What kind of tests must be done to reach this conclusion?

What do you make of the 7 dark holes discovered on the planet Mars? The holes are believed to be entrances into caves or into the interior of Mars since they go very deep due to light going into them and not coming back out. Could these holes be entrances to a former civilization? What if life were discovered there? Check out this site: info@universetoday.com Check out this site: info@universetoday.com
What is behind the distorted reception from Mars to South Africa ? Do aspirant accountants receive different signals from Mars via antennae with marshmallows on the tips to the rest of us?
How come they dont put astronauts on mars? I dont know why NASA doesn't put people on mars to walk around for a minute. Is it too hot, too cold, what? It would cost less than putting a robot car there wouldnt it?

How realistic is it for humans to live on Mars? In the long-term future? What sort of adaptation would we have to make to our life in order to survive on Mars, that is, what changes are necessary to survive in the hostile conditions: low temperature, little or no atmosphere, cosmic rays etc. Interested to hear your views on this. Also do you think we will ever need to emigrate to other planets?
Is everyone clear now on the non-closeness of Mars and the upcoming Lunar eclipse? The rumored closeness of Mars for tomorrow (false) actually happened in 2003 - it was the brightest object in the sky - and the Lunar eclipse will occur Tuesday night-Wednesday morning (true). Have you planned to watch it?

Why isnt there pictures of mars at night and if there are where are they? I have been trying to find pictures of mars at night. I am curious to see what the night sky looks like from the surface of mars, but i cant seem to find any. I realize that some people will say why would you want to see things in the dark, but that is beside the point. Where are the pictures?
How would you compensate for temperature on mars? If you lived on mars is a habitat what would you use to heat up the habitat?
Why is there a time lag in signal transmission to mars? I've been looking for an explanation for very long. As much as am sure there is something very direct and obvious about it, considering how frequently it is mentioned in all discussions about mars, i havnt been able to find out "why". If you could also please suggest somewhere i could find the theory, it'll be gr8!

Could humanity engineer mars to sustain organic life in the future? With the rapid advance in robotics, genetics and technology are we capable of seeding organic life in mars in the next hundred years? And should we?
Why the push to inhabit Mars when there is no magnetosphere? I'm all for space exploration and find it fascinating; however, it makes me very curious to inhabit a world that is basically dead and sterile due to the sun's radiation bombarding Mars for so many years. Thanks!
On what date is Mars supposed to appear as big as our moon to the naked eye? I heard sometime in August the planet Mars is supposed to look as big as our moon to the naked eye. What date is that? WOW, I FEEL REALLY SILLY NOW. I GOT THAT EMAIL FROM A FRIEND. I AM NOW SORRY THAT I PASSED THAT ON TO OTHER FRIENDS! THANKS EVERYONE!
Is it possible that life on planet Mars is ultramicroscopic? I don't see why Mars seems lifeless, but I'm sure there is some kind of life there. Unlike Mars itself, Venus definitely has no life because of the thick layer of toxic clouds covering it.
Is it possible to create a breathable atmosphere on Mars? If we were to plant Algae and other microbial life on Mars, would it not be able to generate a breathable atmosphere?
How close and how far away can an object go from Mars to stay in orbit around it? How close to, and How far away from, can an object be from the planet Mars while staying in orbit around it? How close to, and How far away from, can an object be from the planet Mars while staying in orbit around it? The object would have a mass of 925 Kilograms or 2039.3 Pounds.
Go to Mars you would need to teraform and melt some of thje polar icecaps? Go to Mars you would need to teraform and melt some of thje polar icecaps. Why havent we done this. All they needed to do was reflect some sun light on marses caps to get water in the air and create atomsphere and then ship some algie there to turn the carbon dioxide to oxygen. It would only take 25-40 years to have a liveable planet.
Does anyone know where I can find an original print of Mars vol 12? I've been looking for Mars v12 by Fuyumi Soryo but all the ones I've found have been reprints. If anyone knows where I can get an original print of this manga in good condition, it'd be great.
Should new technology be developed before we even think about traveling to Mars? Much as we would love to fantasize about such a journey, the cost would be prohibitive if we use our present technology to launch a manned mission to Mars any time in the next two decades or so. I find it hard to believe some of our leaders have proposed such an expensive project when we need the money here on earth. (I'm sure that they are having second thoughts with the current economic situation). Until such a time comes, if at all, when we can get a handle on the situation down here, and new technology permits significantly easier space travel, we should wait.
Why has Mars US candy corp turned some of their wrappers beige? I've recently noticed that a few of Mars' candy bar wrappers (such as Snickers and 3 Musketeers) have been repackaged into plain beige wrappers with a cursive brown font spelling out the candy name. Does anyone know why this might be?
What would I put in a batter to fry Mars Bars? I want to make my own homemade fried twinkies and Mars Bars (or Milky Ways, very similar) for a party I am throwing at Halloween. Can anyone tell me what ingredients, and in what proportions I would put into a batter used for frying twinkies and Mars Bars?

Would fuel mass be affected if the ship were built in orbit? If so what would the weight of conventional fueling be on a ship built in orbit going one way?
How people can go and live on the surface of Mars? I came to know that people from the Earth can go and live on the Mars if there is really water on Mars. My query is that if the people from Earth are shifted to the Mars, mass of the Mars may increase and thereby changes may take place in and around the Mars. In this situation, how people can go and live on the surface of Mars? Please answer me.
How do we control the Mars lander? I've always wondered about this because it's done by remote control right? But I learned from my physics teacher that it takes around 4 minutes for signals to actually reach Mars. How would you ever be able to control it?
What year are we launching the mission to put a man on Mars? Anybody know of a mission to mars in the up and coming?

Should we destroy the uniqueness of mars to make a new earth? I know humans are gonna need to have a lot more room if population levels increase in the future like they have recently, and Mars seems to be the most viable planet for colonization/terraforming. But should we destroy something so unique and incredible as mars to make room for more people?
what is the date that the planet Mars will be closest to the earth? I got an email about Mars being close to the earth real soon but deleted the email.
How much do you pay for a Standard MARS BAR? I'm talking about the 62.5g Mars Bar. I just paid 41p at a local newsagents. Paid 39p last week at a convenience store. But only paid 35p at a small post office recently. How can there be so many different prices all within a mile of each other? What do you pay for yours?
How long does it take to send pictures from Mars? And are there ever any "communications problems" between Mars and Earth -- like blackouts when the sun is between the two planets, or other disruptions? I'm writing a science fiction story, maybe. Please add links if you have 'em.
What is the acceleration of an object in free fall near the surface of Mars? The planet Mars has a mass of 6:1 x 10^23 kg and radius of 3:6 x 10^6 m. What is the acceleration of an object in free fall near the surface of Mars? The value of the gravitational constant is 6:67259 x 10^-11 N m2/kg2. Answer in units of m/s2.
What is the final velocity at, 1 G acceleration for half the the distance between Earth and Mars? If a vehicle were to travel from Earth to Mars, at 1 G acceleration for one half the journey and 1 G deceleration for the second half of the journey, what would its velocity be at the mid-point?
What do YOU think would be the best way to terraform Mars? I have heard many ways to accomplish this task. There was a wild idea that they could litterally knock Mars into Earth's orbit around the sun... which seems impossible to me. Then I have heard of filtering Earth's atmosphere of harmful greenhouse gases and bringing them to Mars... on Mars they would actually be helpful in warming the planet. After the planet warms and the water melts they want to add a genetically engineered algae to the oceans. This algae is said to be able to produce up to 1/2 of the required oxygen on the planet for mankind to flourish. Do any of you have any new ideas, better ideas, or have more information on the processes I outlined above? Remember I know alittle about this topic and I am curious what YOUR belief is! ok ppl look there are many ways to overcome these problems.... the question is HOW DO WE DO IT... cause it is possible... and we could even out the loss of mass on earth by bringing back metals from asteroid fields or something.... ok now time for round 2... How to do it not if we can do it! johnny G... ur currently in the lead... but can u supply me with a good link?? thanx man ur answer is very interesting.
